Deputy Building Official

Participates in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, and priorities related to Inspection Services. Plan, organize and evaluate the functions and activities of the Department, including building, electrical, plumbing, mechanical and zoning inspections. Develop and/or assist in the development of policies, procedures methods, and checklists as needed. Plan, organize, and evaluate the plan review functions and activities of the Department. Develop and/or assist in the development of policies, procedures, methods, and checklist as needed. Oversees the city’s ADA programs, facilities and construction projects for compliance.

Facilities and Grounds Supervisor

Maintain community and neighborhood parks, street trees, landscapes, streetscapes, greenbelts, open space, and athletic field facilities, public buildings, swimming complex, buildings located within park facilities and City facilities and buildings, offices and public safety stations utilized by City departments. The division performs a wide range of building and equipment repairs, emergency facility calls, preventive maintenance, and building alterations and provides the public with safe, accessible and aesthetic facilities. The division also manages the work of private vendors who provide specialized maintenance and construction services. Custodial services for all buildings maintained are provided to ensure a safe and clean environment for users.

Street Maintenance Supervisor

To supervise, assign, review and participate in the work of staff responsible for street maintenance and storm water operations including street sweeping; pothole repair; storm drain cleaning; repair and installation; soil street maintenance; sink hole/cave-in repair; concrete curb and sidewalk repair and replacement; heavy equipment and hauling operations; inclement weather response; and to perform a variety of technical tasks relative to assigned area of responsibility.

Sewer Wast Water Supervisor

The Waste Water Supervisor is engaged in the operation and maintenance of plant operations and related equipment. Ensures the safe, reliable and efficient operation of main and collection facilities and equipment. Monitors and inspects job sites, facilities and databases to ensure city procedures are followed and that compliance is maintained relative to all applicable local, state and federal regulatory requirements.

Water Supervisor

The Water Supervisor plans, organizes and directs the work of staff, including planning and securing the necessary resources to successfully achieve the division’s mission to ensure the safe and reliable delivery of potable water to our customers. Under general direction, supervises, assigns and participates in the operation and maintenance of water production, water blending/disinfection, water meter systems, storage, transmission and distribution facilities, and performs related work as required.
